70,000 helped by Website service for small businesses
Online Business SupportVenture Navigator in an online web service for small businesses, new businesses and entrepreneurs funded by the UK government. It offers assessments with personalised feedback, information resources and an online community of business owners and entrepreneurs. Their latest news reports that there has been more than 70,000 users helped by the project. The service has its 1st birthday celebrations this week during Enterprise Week 2008. Venture Navigator was created by the Business Edge Consortium and comprises of the following members:
- University of Essex
- Library House
- University of Cambridge
- Institute for Manufacturing
- University of Leeds
- University of Liverpool
- The Open University
- University of Glasgow
- University of Warwick
Venture Navigator also gains support from:

- The British Library
- The National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship
